I recorded 8 of the 10 tracks at my apartment on 4-track, grabbing whatever I could to help keep me inspired: saxophone, tambourine, accordion, the shaker I made from the Safeway iodized salt container. The two songs I co-wrote were recorded on computer at my co-writer's apartments. For a few days before the co-writes were written & recorded, I was going to throw in the towel. I was getting burnt doing it all myself. With that hump surpassed, I recorded the two instrumental pieces. Finally, I transferred everything to Pro Tools to mix, then did a late night headphones-only mastering.
